Going to Grandma's

Me and my sister used to have something similar to this adorable suitcase. I wish it didn't get sold in one of the many garage sales we had growing up. My mom sold some awesome treasures including my brother's entire Star Wars figurine collection and my almost equally awesome Care Bear figurine collection (Cloud Car included--ugh, I hate thinking about it).
Anyway, we are off to my Mom and Dad's for a couple of weeks. Jack could not be more excited. Lila seems indifferent.
I'm sure I'll have some stories to share.

Don't forget your sister's letterman's jacket.

Please tell Janners and Dean to book a trip to visit us. Tell Dean we'll take him to the Guggenheim, and then tell Jan we won't, that way they'll both be interested.

I forgot to tell you that Jack invited us all to Texas with us, and when I inquired as to who would be paying our airfare, he told me, "my mom". So, I'll be expecting some e-tickets in my email shortly (oh, and he invited ms. jan as well.. so get the spare room ready).

I want to go to Texas. Unless it's rainy there too! Grrr. I love rain, but only when it clears up long enough for me to take my kid outside once in a while.

I hope you make time in your travel to come see us before we go. If not, you'll have to come all the way to California. Which of course, you're welcome to do anytime!

I confess, I was a garage sale addict...I was addicted to getting the quarters. I did not sell Mark's star wars characters. He and his cousin broke them to pieces, beheaded them, and broke off arms and legs...it was carnage. I did sell Annie's Care Bares...but she told me she didn't want them. As for the jacket...It said Annie Osmond on the back (a phase she went thru and I thought she had grown out of it.)
