HP and OCD

I decided to color code my new bookshelves.

On the other side of the fireplace are narrower shelves. I decided not to color code these, but to display my (Twilight series and) foreign and domestic Harry Potter collections.

Foreign

UK versions my dad got from London

Domestic

The owl is from Pottery Barn and a Christmas gift from Kimmy.
The beakers I got on clearance at Anthropologie.
And I use them for Snape's Potions class of course.

I LOVE THE SHELVES.

I left half my clothes in Scotland so that we could bring back UK versions of HP.

Totally worth it.

I can't help but notice you have more white books than any other color.

Reason?

p.s. they look great. I can't wait to see them in person.

I like the color coding idea. I have all my and Brian's books alphabetized by author and size. Talk about OCD!

Where's your Sweet Valley High shelf? And your Celtic Romance novel shelf? Oh, wait. I have those shelves.

I never would have even thought to color code my books, but it looks sooo good! Very creative:)
