We started things out with cousins staying at our house for the weekend (a total of 16 people in my house. I didn't think it was possible, but it was awesome), a race for brains, followed by a wedding, luncheon and reception. Everything was perfect and beautiful and wonderful and great.
The next day we drove to Lon Guyland to spend some more cousin time together with the Colliers. This consisted of eating and beaching and play grounding and basically wearing ourselves out.
Friday we left the Colliers to visit some wonderful friends that also live on Long Island and we've been having more great times. More beaching. More playing. More wearing ourselves out.
We leave tomorrow which makes me sad. But it's time to get back to our lives I suppose. I'm making the trip home a two-day adventure even though we could totally do it in one. Me and the kiddos are going to hit up DC for the night. Something about kids and hotel rooms--it's going to be the highlight of the whole trip, guaranteed.
