We have been humming and hawing for what seems like forever about paint.
We want to paint the whole house.
Inside and outside.
So, it's a little daunting.
I was set on the exterior colors from the moment we moved in.
Now I'm second guessing myself.
Decisions are hard.
But a few weeks back we decided our room would be gray.
Do you know how many grays there are?
Weeks of paint chips taped to the walls and squinting in different lighting to see what looks the best (I can only assume this is how professionals do it).
Well, on Saturday we finally decided on the color for our bedroom.
At about 3:30 in the afternoon, we bought the paint.
At around 7 p.m. the kids helped get us started, then after about 20 minutes got sent to bed.
Ben was mostly done by 12:30 a.m. but had some touch up stuff to do the next morning.
My professional recommendation is to start earlier in the day, however I am pleased with the result.
Benjamin Moore - Coventry Gray
Next up: the bathroom - Chelsea Gray
P.S. We bought the Benjamin Moore Aura which is a one coat only paint. It's amazing. 1 gallon did our whole bedroom.
They weren't lying--one coat.
